Back at the Aztec

Hey there, call me Chris! I was born in Oceanside, California, USA on May 31st, 1995. I graduated high school in 2013, joined the United States Air Force for 6 years, and then worked as a contractor until covid happened back in mid 2020–2021, losing my job and staying with family for a little bit and picking up odd jobs.

I then decided I wanted to study at university, studying biology. My first year was spent at Edinboro University in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. I then decided I wanted to study abroad. At first, it was just supposed to be a semester in Austria, but due to failed plans, I decided to try my luck in England. Now, I’ve been living in Bristol for 3 years and still enjoying every second of it, even if it’s pretty expensive to live here.

I’ve enjoyed Blood on the Clocktower for 2 years, growing my knowledge and group of friends along the way. That’s why I decided to start a con with my friends here in Bristol, as the fan base here is massive, and I was surprised to see no one had done it yet before. I was inspired by GLC and Dragonswood Bluff, and wanted to try my hand at it myself!

Welcome to Bristol on the Clocktower, and I wish to have many more fun moments together with all of you.

Hi, I’m Alex (also known as SulisXV), a maths teacher from Kent who has been living in Bristol for 6 years now. If you’re in or around the Bristol community you will likely have ~tolerated~ met me, and you may also have seen me inciting chaos on twitch.tv/themadchefs or its YouTube channel.

I started playing Blood on the Clocktower about a year ago after being brought along to a session on the Bristol Downs by an old friend. I had no idea what to expect, having never heard of it before, and with my only experience of Mafia/Werewolf being a 15-player game in which I died immediately and sat twiddling my thumbs for 90 minutes. I fell in love with the game immediately, and since then, the wonderful Bristol community simply has not been able to get rid of me.

I’ve played what must be several hundred games both in-person and online, storytold nearly 100 games of various spice levels for groups ranging from absolute beginners to TPI players, dragged dozens of other people into the BotC community, and made some amazing friends. As fun as the game is, that latter part is most important to me, and I cannot stress enough how grateful I am to this wonderful community for taking me in.

Given the opportunity to help plan this event, I wanted to give back to you all and help you have as much fun as I no doubt will. I can’t wait to get started.
